If you are scheduled for a medical imaging examination, you probably have some questions. This section provides information about some of the most common diagnostic imaging procedures. You'll learn how to prepare for your exam and what to expect during the procedure. Medical imaging examinations involve the use of x-rays, sound waves, magnetic fields or radioactive emissions to gain important information about the body.

Registered nurses are on staff for assessment, intervention or observation as needed. RN's are ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certified.
